SNP public meeting at Les Mamelles

Today was Les Mamelles’ turn to host one of the SNP’s touring public meetings. Today’s focus was on the spiraling cost of living, the looming economic crisis which will be brought upon once the IMF programme is in full swing and the social consequences Seychelles will have to face.
A big crowd from all over Mahé, gathered like it’s now customary to hear the party’s leadership address the issue and present the opposition’ solutions to rejuvenate the islands’ economy. SNP’s is particularly concern that these measures if not managed properly could lead to a difficult era for the population of Seychelles. But the highlight of the afternoon was the Leader of the Opposition’s challenge for SBC to organize a Face à Face programme between him and the President only, to discuss the issues at stake.
