Congratulations on your nomination. I sincerely believe and support youth of your age, who wants a better future and who wants to see real democracy in Seychelles, without having to hide behind a curtain, where all the realities of our small nation lies, and behaving like a naked emperor, with his people applauding his so-called 'Zoli Lenz!' For sure, your decision has shocked many, and you have opened the door to those who are scared to move forward, and putting their interests and their future at risk, to please those who like to run the country with undemocratic principles. I wish you all the best for the future, and now I'm confident that there are great professionals out there, who want to be, not what others want them to be only, but what democaracy as a whole, needs to be in our country. Looking forward to meet you.
Jose, i think you perform better than Frank Elizabeth. But i must say i do not agree with the way Wavel went about kicking the DP out of the Assembly was unwarranted, suspect and show clearly that Wavel may not be a democrat and certainly had dictatorial tendencies. There were other ways to deal with the matter.
The problem frankly is not that the people of Seychellois do not want a change, but that the SPPF is just better organised, better prepared for ANY elections.If we look at past elections the Opposition has been hovering between 40%-45% (even a United Opposition,and that despite EVERYTHING in the country going from worse to worse.
Sadly the SNP remains a closed shop. You will soon realise that decisons will always remain in the hands of Wavel,Roger,J.Francois. That is no way to run a political party. And that is certainly no way to come to power (on the assumption that this is the objective)!
YES the SNP may remain the Offcial Opposition Party, but unless and until CHANGE happens within the SNP first, there will be no change in Seychelles.
And i bet that should the SPPF call an election now, they will increase their support!
